About
British Conductor Tess Jackson is a dynamic British conductor who is quickly gaining international recognition. Recent highlights include debuts with Garsington Opera (La Traviata) and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, a return to Volksoper Wien (West Side Story) as well as her debut at the BBC Proms with the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, Britten Sinfonia, and the Royal Northern Sinfonia. The 26/27 season sees Tess debut with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Hallé, and Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. She also returns to the Lyric Opera of Chicago to conduct four performances of Verdi’s La Traviata, and has her debut at Glyndebourne Festival (Rossini’s La Cenerentola).
