British Conductor Tess Jackson is Associate Conductor of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain. Recent highlights include debuts with English National Opera (Marriage of Figaro) and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, a return to Volksoper Wien (West Side Story) as well as her debut at the BBC Proms with the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain. Her acclaimed jump-in for Smetana’s The Bartered Bride at Garsington Opera led to the invitation to make her symphonic debut with the Philharmonia Orchestra.
